Partners Douglas A. Miro and Brian Comack recently published an article for the New York Law Journal titled, “Practical Considerations for ‘Virtual’ Oral Argument Before the Second Circuit During the Pandemic.” In the article, the authors discuss their experiences arguing an appeal via teleconference (without video) before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Doug and Brian also provide some general observations and practical considerations for practitioners who have upcoming “virtual” oral arguments before the Second Circuit or any other court.
