NYIPLA PTAB Committee to Tackle Congressional Bills Relating to PTAB Reform on December 7 Featuring Charley Macedo and Anthony Lo Cicero

As the holiday season begins, on December 7 at 4pm ET the New York Intellectual Property Association's PTAB Committee will tackle a summary of the currently pending (and soon to be expected) bills in congress addressing potential reform of the PTAB, including:

H.R. 5902 (Conducting Legally Efficient Administration and Resolution of Patents) and
S.2891 (Restoring the American Invents Act),
H.R. 5874 (Restoring America’s Leadership in Innovation Act),
the old S.2082 (Stronger Patents Act of 2019) (which is expected to be represented in some form soon)
as well as the upcoming hearings on Kathi Vidal as next Director.

ARE Law partners Co-Chair Charley Macedo of the PTAB Committee and Co-Chair Anthony Lo Cicero from the LAC Committee will be leading the discussion.

The PTAB Committee will also be soliciting comments from attendees regarding potential comments to submit on S.2891.
