
Sanjeev Mehta focuses his practice on all aspects of intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. He has a technical background in chemistry. He worked as an information technology consultant at Accenture prior to attending law school.
Sanjeev has litigated patent cases in a broad range of technologies including medical devices, digital electronics, and consumer products. He has experience in litigating all aspects of a case including fact and expert discovery, motion practice, pre-trial preparation, trial, and appeals. He has participated in bench and jury trials and drafted appellate briefs to the Federal Circuit.
Sanjeev also has experience in securing and enforcing trademarks. He has handled trademark prosecution and litigated trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the federal courts. Additionally, he has represented clients involved in copyright disputes.
Sanjeev attended Columbia College where he earned a bachelor of arts in chemistry. He worked as an information technology consultant at Accenture before attending Fordham Law School. Sanjeev is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
