
Mr. Burak concentrates his practice on intellectual property litigation and patent law. His law practice has focused on a broad range of technologies ranging from consumer electronics to e-commerce to medical devices. In addition, he has worked on a variety of trademark matters.
Mr. Burak joined Amster, Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP as a Summer Associate in 2006 and returned to the firm as an Associate in 2007. Since that time, he has worked on a diverse range of patent and trademark litigations, and has represented clients' interests in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial matters.
Mr. Burak attended Cornell University where he received a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Engineering, both in the field of Materials Science. He received his law degree from Rutgers School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Burak worked as a Development Engineer within IBM's Microelectronics Division, overseeing the strategic outsourcing and development of semiconductor-related computer components.
