
David R. Widomski concentrates his practice on complex patent preparation and prosecution, patentability and non-infringement opinions, strategic patent development, licensing and other aspects of patent law. He has experience in a broad range of technologies including medical devices; mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing technology; computer chip technology; consumer products; and business methods.
Mr. Widomski graduated cum laude from the honors program at Northeastern University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Biology. While attending Northeastern University, Mr. Widomski completed an undergraduate thesis on the Design and Construction of a Patent Foramen Ovale Heart Defect Model.
Prior to attending Fordham University School of Law, Mr. Widomski worked as a Medical Device Engineer designing minimally invasive heart implants, catheter based delivery systems, and has worked with suturing systems, bioadhesives, and bioabsorable materials. Mr. Widomski also worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the fields of ultra low vacuum technology, electrostatic spinning, and energy storage systems.
