
Andrei Voinigescu practices in all areas of intellectual property, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation and licensing. Mr. Voinigescu has a background in Computer Science. Since joining the firm, his practice has focused on a broad range of technologies including consumer eletronics, networked communications, and e-commerce. In addition, he has worked on a variety of trademark, copyright and right of publicity matters, and has experience with pre-suit evaluation and counselling, infringement investigations before the International Trade Commission, and domain-name disputes.
Mr. Voinigescu received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he served as an Editor on the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review and as an Articles Editor on the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Voinigescu worked as a legal intern at the Software Freedom Law Center, where he helped counsel and represent open-source software developers regarding a variety of intellectual property issues, including registration, licensing, and litigation.
