Steven B. Gauthier’s practice focuses on all phases of intellectual property litigation including patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and unfair competition. He has a strong background in electrical engineering due to his prior professional experience as an engineer in the semiconductor industry.
Mr. Gauthier joined Amster, Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP as a Summer Associate in 2005 and returned to the firm as an Associate in 2006. While at the firm, he has worked on a diverse range of intellectual property litigation matters involving various technologies and works, including consumer electronics, semiconductor chips, and computer programs.
Mr. Gauthier received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 2006, where he was the Associate Managing Editor of the
New York International Law Review. He graduated with an electrical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2000. Following graduation, he worked at a global semiconductor firm until enrolling in law school in 2003.
