Reiko Kaji concentrates her practice on patent litigation and licensing. Prior to law school, Ms. Kaji worked as a project engineer and a financial analyst for the glass/ceramic industry where she was responsible for projects such as developing the specifications for relational database warehouse management system and designing the associated business processes.

During 2003-2004, Ms. Kaji served as an in-house patent counsel for Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd., Osaka, Japan. While there, she advised Matsushita with respect to license negotiations concerning digital rights management and patent assertions relating to consumer electronic goods.

Ms. Kaji is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
