Nathan Weber practices in all areas of patent law. His practice combines years of multi-discipline patent prosecution with simultaneous experience handling patent litigation. In prosecution matters Nathan has handled technologies as diverse as paper making fabrics and industrial textiles, plastic hangers, medical devices, semiconductors and integrated circuitry to telecommunications and IP based communications switching gear. His experience handling patent litigation has ranged from Hatch-Waxman generic drug matters, where he managed to represent, at different times, both brand name manufactures and their generic competition, to sporting goods for a well know baseball bat and glove manufacturer. Nathan prepares non-infringement and invalidity opinions for clients on a wide range of subject matter that includes credit card and exchange rate processing systems, computer assisted white board systems, semiconductors, computer system architecture, medical devices, toys, and household goods.

Nathan received his law degree from the St. John’s University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Marine Engineering Systems from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Prior to law school, he worked as a shipboard engineer both commercially and as a training officer at Merchant Marine Academy.

Nathan is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
