Norajean McCaffrey concentrates her practice in all facets of intellectual property law litigation, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and unfair competition.
She began her career as a Summer Associate at Amster, Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP in 2001, and returned to the firm as an Associate in the Fall of 2002. Since that time, Ms. McCaffrey has worked on several patent litigations, and represented clients' interests in all stages of patent litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial matters. She has also assisted on trademark and other intellectual property litigation projects.
Ms. McCaffrey received her B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She received her law degree from Hofstra University where she served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Labor & Employment Law Journal. Ms. McCaffrey is admitted to practice before the State Bar of New York, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
