Practice Areas
Michael J. Berger has broad experience in all areas of intellectual property law. He specializes in complex electronic and computer technology telecommunications and the mechanical arts. He has counseled clients in complex negotiations and has litigated complex patent matters before the Federal District Courts and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Berger has actively prosecuted patent and trademark applications before the United States Patent Office, has advised clients on the development of their patent and trademark portfolios, supervised the prosecution of many patent and trademark applications and counseled clients on effective ways of using their intellectual property to effectively enhance their business operations.

Over the years, he has represented numerous multinational companies as well as many small and midsize companies helping them to maintain and enforce their intellectual property rights.

Mr. Berger was born in Brooklyn, New York. He received his Electrical Engineering degree from the City College of New York, a J.D. degree from New York Law School and a Master of Law in Trade Regulations from New York University.
