Daniel S. Ebenstein has had extensive experience in all aspects of Intellectual Property Law over the past 39 years. His current practice focuses on the litigation of patent and trademark matters in federal courts and in arbitration; negotiation and drafting of complex intellectual property agreements, including intellectual property licenses and joint ventures for new product development; and counseling clients in the evaluation of patent and trademark conflicts. His areas of technology are primarily electrical, communications, computers, and mechanical arts.

Mr. Ebenstein also serves as an arbitrator in commercial matters related to intellectual property under the auspice of the American Arbitration Association, and has served as a special master in federal court. He has been a speaker in programs sponsored by Practicing Law Institute (PLI) and the Bureau of National Affairs (BNA).

Mr. Ebenstein attended the Columbia University School of Engineering where he majored in industrial engineering and operations research, and received the Faculty Scholar Award. He received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 1967. Mr. Ebenstein is admitted to practice in all New York State courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has been registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 1968.
