Craig J. Arnold concentrates on formulating complex prosecution strategies for protecting intellectual property rights in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, and medical arts industries. He regularly handles patent prosecutions in the United States as well as in foreign jurisdictions on behalf of large and small pharmaceutical companies as well as for non-profits such as universities and academic research centers. Mr. Arnold has successfully prosecuted opposition proceedings in Australia and Europe, as well as reexamination proceedings in the United States. Mr. Arnold advises clients on patent validity and infringement issues.

He also has extensive experience in monitoring and analyzing patent litigations involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices on behalf of Wall Street clients, and is particularly well regarded for evaluating generic challenges to brand pharmaceutical patents.

Born in Wellsville, New York in 1964, Craig J. Arnold attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania where he majored in chemistry and minored in mathematics. In 1990, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is admitted to practice in all New York State courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
